Macklemore & Kesha’s “Good Old Days” Video Is Suitably Nostalgic

Macklemore & Kesha's 'Good Old Days'
The duo reminisces about the 'Good Old Days' on their new collaboration.

Macklemore and Kesha reflect on the simplicity of their pre-fame lives on nostalgic collaboration, “Good Old Days.” Written by the pair and produced by Joshua “Budo” Karp, the track is full of homespun wisdom about being in the moment and boasts one hell of chorus by the former K$. The video drops today (September 21) and it takes a fairly literal approach to the subject matter. The rapper and his singer/songwriter friend go on a road trip through the Pacific Northwest in an orange van.

They meet up with some friends in the forest and do pre-digital things like talk to people and go swimming. There’s even a campfire sing-along! It’s great to see Kesha looking so radiant, while Macklemore seems to have gotten his groove back. “Glorious,” his underrated collaboration with Skylar Grey, peaked at number 65 on the Billboard Hot 100, but his latest single should outdo that by some margin. The (kind of) odd couple will perform “Good Old Days” on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on September 25. Watch the video up top.
