Katy Perry's 'Witness': Album Review
Katy Perry boldly explores club sub-genres on her banger-heavy new album.

The first episode of American Idol 2.0 hasn’t even been filmed yet, but the reboot has already been subject to controversy. It seems that Fox blew most of their talent budget on Katy Perry (she is taking home a massive $25 million paycheck) and they couldn’t secure other judges. That caused talk of filming delays and even rumors about the Witness diva stepping down. Well, it looks like everything has been sorted out now because the judging panel just made their first appearance on Good Morning America.

Katy will be joined by R&B legend Lionel Richie and country superstar Luke Bryan. The pop star described her fellow judges as “the dream team,” before adding: “We’ve only had one day together yesterday and we’re already just so locked in and I think there’s such incredible mutual respect that everybody has their strengths and knows their different wheelhouses and I just sit there on the table like, ‘Really, Lionel? You hung out with Prince and Michael and Whitney? Tell us more!'” See the full interview below.
