Kesha & Macklemore's 'Good Old Days' Video
Macklemore and Kesha reflect on their pre-fame lives in their nostalgic new video.

Kesha celebrates a career milestone today (October 4) by landing on the cover of Rolling Stone. “My mom used to follow me around singing the song ‘the cover of the rolling stone’ and I have covers all over my childhood walls STILL,” she wrote on Instagram. “This is heart-achingly so special.” The pop star opens up about her chart-topping Rainbow album in the accompanying interview, describing a newfound sense of creative freedom. “I feel like myself,” she says, “for the first time ever.”

“I made a record I’m extremely proud of, from the bottom of my guts — I excavated the most gnarly lyrics that were so difficult for me,” Kesha continues. “And people still like it! It’s really beautiful, and it’s very healing. I feel like I’m being seen for what I actually am, and people are OK with it.” The 30-year-old also gave props to Taylor Swift, who donated to her legal fees. “[She] is a fucking sweetheart. Very, very sweet, very, very genuine, extremely generous, picks up the phone every time I call her. My mom doesn’t even always pick up the phone!”
