Pink Bares Her Heart On Tender New Love Song “Whatever You Want”
Pink bares her heart on her latest Beautiful Trauma buzz track, “Whatever You Want.” The hitmaker is returning to familiar ground with another striding power ballad, and she has what could be a massive hit on her hands once again. The newest song joins the evocative lead single “What About Us” and the massive title track, and it is more evidence that the forthcoming album is shaping up to be another noteworthy release.
The track opens as something of a breakup anthem. “Running like a dog. Fighting like a bitch too much, and you just can’t stand it baby,” she fiercely chants in the opening lines. She sounds ready to move on from her partner; however, Pink would never give up without a fight. “I feel like our ship’s going down tonight, but it’s always darkest before the light. And that’s enough for me to try,” she proclaims on the chorus. It is more of the punchy determination that we have come to expect from her music and is shaping up to be a nice addition to her discography.
The “Just Give Me A Reason” siren is pulling out all the stops as she gears up to unleash Beautiful Trauma October 13. “What About Us” is sitting comfortably within the top 40 and could shape up to be the radio hit that gets her latest era off to a strong start.
