Taylor Swift's '...Ready For It' video is high on effects, low on plot.

Taylor Swift is rolling out another song from Reputation at midnight tonight (November 3). The album’s fourth buzz track is titled “Call It What You Want” and seems to include the lyric, “Holding my breath slowly I said, you don’t need to save me but would you run away with me?” After a run of underwhelming electro-anthems, it will be interesting to see if she mixes it up with a ballad or something a little more stripped-back. The 27-year-old is expected to perform the song (or another new track) on ABC on November 9 — during an episode of Scandal!

The Reputation era hasn’t been the all-conquering success that Taylor is used to. Lead single “Look What You Made Me Do” dutifully topped the charts, but received a lukewarm reaction from fans and critics, and hasn’t had a lot of staying power. She then experienced diminishing returns with “…Ready For It” and “Gorgeous.” The former cracked the top 10 for a solitary week, while the latter debuted outside the top 10. See the 1989 hitmaker’s various announcements below.
