Get Ready! Meghan Trainor Is Working On “New Bangers”
With the exception of a soundtrack song (underrated bop “I’m A Lady”) and a couple of random songwriting credits, Meghan Trainor has been unusually quiet in 2017. The hitmaker has been chipping away at her third LP, crafting hits with some of the game’s hottest songwriters and producers. She gave an update on her progress earlier this week via Instagram. “MOOD about the new bangers we wrote these last two weeks,” Meghan captioned a beaming selfie. “Losing my [Shit].” The 23-year-old also revealed some of her collaborators.
The Grammy winner is working with Tyler Johnson (Sam Smith and Harry Styles), Andrew Wells (Chappell Roan and Corey Harper), J Kash (Charlie Puth and Maroon 5), LunchMoney Lewis (Jason Derulo and Zara Larsson), Tobias Jesso Jr. (Adele, Sia and Pink) and Josh Kear (Keith Urban and Florida Georgia Line). That line-up covers specialists in every genre from soul, country and pop — so expect a bit of everything on Meghan’s next opus. Check out her studio pics below.
