Demi Lovato Interview
We speak to Demi Lovato about 'Simply Complicated' and her new album.

Demi Lovato popped over to the UK for Sunday night’s (November 12) MTV EMAs and also got in a little promo. The 25-year-old dropped by BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge to belt out Sam Smith’s “Too Good At Goodbyes.” As expected, she delivered a powerful vocal — effortlessly tapping into the ballad’s gloomy resignation. It’s probably better to listen to the performance than watch it, however, as it’s a little distracting to watch Demi read the lyrics off a sheet instead of emoting to the camera.

The hitmaker knew the words to “Sorry Not Sorry,” however, and also dusted off “Skyscraper” as a special treat to fans. Demi is currently enjoying her most successful era, both critically and commercially. And it shows no sign of letting up any time soon. She is in the process of rolling out “Tell Me You Love Me” as her next single. That ballad should find a lot of love at pop radio and possibly get recognition from the Grammy committee. Watch Demi do her thing above and below.
