Iggy Azalea Shares Lyrics From New LP ‘Surviving The Summer’
Iggy Azalea returned to social media — tweeting a link to four new songs. The rapper also revealed that she has signed with a new label and is planning to relaunch in January, 2018. However, don’t expect Digital Distortion to ever see the light of day. The 27-year-old’s new project is called Surviving The Summer and it’s an entirely new project — not the same album with a different title. Iggy fired up her Twitter again over the weekend to share lyrics (I think) from her new opus.
“You Promised me a perfect, plastic love, told me be organic then laughed when I started to wither,” she tweeted. “Sipped on synthetic happiness pool side at the standard & didn’t call me back. Summer, you ain’t shit.” That sets the tone for a string of tweets containing lyrics about her summer of misery. “If you don’t already get the vibe, yes I’d like for summer to trip and fall in the middle of the street,” the hitmaker joked. Get a taste of Iggy’s new project below.

I tried 2 be a mother
warm but tough like noon concrete
I tried to be a brush
Painting u in better light
I tried to be a wave;
when we fight rising & retreating.
I tried to stop the blue plumes
billowing doubt from my texts.
Inevitable Conclusion.

I worry about ppls negative energy’s.
I'm anxious about barbershop talk & internet memes.
