Post Malone has the breakout out hip-hop smash of 2017 with “Rockstar.” Featuring fellow Next Big Thing 21 Savage, the druggy anthem debuted at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 — breaking the single-week streaming record with 25 million+ streams. It eventually dethroned Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow” and has spent six weeks on top. The track has enjoyed similar success around the world — reaching number one in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. It’s going to reach a whole new audience now that the video has finally dropped.

Directed by Emil Nava, Post’s “Rockstar” video is a blurry (to evoke the lyrics about popping pills) and very bloody viewing experience. There isn’t really a plot to speak of. Just a lot of dudes waving around samurai swords. The main inspiration is Kill Bill, only this time there are no babes in leather bodysuits. Instead, we have the “White Iverson” hitmaker and his collaborator slicing people up. Watch the bloodshed above.
