Several of music’s biggest acts have taken to Twitter to express their joy at being nominated for the 2018 Grammy Awards. The nominations were announced this morning (November 28), and since then social media has been active as fans and artists alike celebrated being recognized for one of the biggest nights in music.

Khalid shared one of the most endearing messages. The Best New Artist nominee retweeted a message from 2014 that expressed his dreams of making it to the Grammys one year. “I did it,” he wrote today. He sent out a second message to express his joy for his friends who were also nominated. Fellow Best New Artist nominee and Khalid’s collaborator, Alessia Cara, shared a similar message. “Really honored to be given this kind of acknowledgement,” she wrote.

Kelly Clarkson was equally humble after realizing that “Love So Soft” received a nod for Best Pop Solo Performance. “I didn’t even think I would be eligible for this year YAAASSSSSS,” she tweeted after congratulating her fellow nominees in the category, Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, Pink and Kesha. She also thanked the song’s writers and announced that the nomination was for all of them.

After dominating the charts with “Despacito” this summer, Luis Fonsi shared his fervent appreciation for God. “I am beyond happy and proud that a song in ESPAÑOL is nominated in three major categories at the 60th GRAMMY awards. Let's continue sharing our beautiful culture and roots with the world. There is no better time than now,” he wrote in a separate Instagram post.

Fifth Harmony did not make the nominations this year, but Lauren Jauregui shared her excitement for many of her friends who did receive nominations. “I’m so inspired by each of you & my heart is filled with pride & joy that you’re all being acknowledged for the talents you are,” she wrote. Other acts including Imagine Dragons, Pink, Shakira, The Chainsmokers and many more also tweeted out their own appreciation for nominations.
