Eminem joins forces with Queen Bey for moody new single 'Walk On Water.'

Ed Sheeran arguably landed the biggest hit of 2017 with “Shape Of You” (“Despacito” might have just snatched the title), but he’s hoping to end the year with another number one. The 26-year-old’s tender ballad, “Perfect,” is already a smash by any definition — climbing all the way to number five on the Billboard Hot 100. However, it’s about to get a whole lot bigger. The Brit revealed that Beyonce was hopping on a remix of the track earlier today (November 30) and, as expected, she takes it to a whole new level.

“I found a man stronger than anyone I know,” Queen Bey sings over strummed guitar. “He shares my dreams, I hope that someday we’ll share our home. I found love to carry more than just my secrets, to carry love, to carry children of our own.” That’s when the harmonies come in and things get really emotional. “We are still kids but we’re so in love, fighting against all odds, I know we’ll be alright this time. Darling, just hold my hand, be your girl you’ll be my man and I see my future in your eyes.”

It all comes together with a shared take on the chorus. “Baby, I’m dancing in the dark with you between my arms barefoot on the grass while listening to our favorite songs,” Beyonce sings, before Ed chimes in. “When I saw you in that dress looking so beautiful, I don’t deserve this you look perfect tonight.” This is a top-shelf tearjerker that is destined to destroy iTunes.
