Watch the odd couple perform a duet the 2015 Country Music Awards.

There was no dirty dancing, but Chris Pratt and country superstar Chris Stapleton certainly brought the heat on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night (December 4). The unlikely duet partners belted out karaoke classic “(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life” and it was kind of amazing. The cowboy hat-wearing hitmaker really went for it, while the actor did his best to keep up. It was funny, endearing and very, very watchable. If you prefer the “Tennessee Whiskey” singer in more serious mode, he also performed a couple of songs from his new LP, From A Room: Volume 2.

Chris kicked off with a typically gripping rendition of “Millionaire,” which is shaping up to be the breakout hit from the album. He also performed “Nobody’s Lonely Tonight.” (Click on the song titles to watch those performances). The 39-year-old is currently the biggest name in country. From A Room: Volume 1 is the highest-selling country music album of the year and has been nominated for three Grammy Awards including Best Country Album and Best Country Song. Watch his comedic duet up top.

‘From A Room: Volume 2’ is out now.
