Brian Wilson Is Still Riding The Wave

Brian Wilson was the co-founder and essential leader of the rock band the Beach Boys. During his time in the Beach Boys Wilson either wrote or co-wrote two dozen Top 40 hits for the band. Although he was plagued with mental illness, his revolutionary approach to music and recording techniques established him as one of the most innovative and significant songwriters of the 20th century. Now, at 75 years old, he’s still rocking and in 2015 he released his eleventh solo album No Pier Pressure. In 2016, in honor of the 50th anniversary of Pet Sounds, he embarked on the Pet Sounds 50th Anniversary World Tour and is still playing music today.
