Katy Perry Teases A Marie Antoinette-Themed “Hey Hey Hey” Music Video

Katy Perry is gearing up to unleash “Hey Hey Hey” as the fourth single from Witness. The 33-year-old was spotted on the set of a video shoot last month, and it seems she is finally ready to unleash the fruits of her labor. She took to Instagram to tease four photos from the shoot and promised the visual would drop tomorrow (December 20).

In the pictures the “Swish Swish” siren is dressed in her best Marie Antoinette regalia complete with hoop skirts and powdered wigs. She and a crew of dancers deliver chic poses, and they feature an explosion of cheerful pastels. In the final pic she pays homage to her current era by bedazzling a large blue eye on her dress. It seems as though Katy has pulled out all the stops for this video, and it will hopefully give “Hey Hey Hey” a strong start on the charts.

This has been a tough era for Katy. “Chained To The Rhythm” was a sizable hit, but it misrepresented the album’s bold exploration of dance sub-genres. From there, it all kind of imploded with “Bon Appetit” and “Swish Swish” failing to connect at radio despite being flawless bops (and instant cult favorites).

That being said, the era has delivered its fair share of highs with the Witness World Wide livestream and stellar live reviews. As we gear up for 2018 it would be nice to see the American Idol judge hop back into the charts with a sizable hit. Hopefully a successful video will turn things around. Check out the teasers below and prepare to check back tomorrow for the official release!
