Beyonce Will Star In Jay-Z’s “Family Feud” Music Video
Beyonce and Blue Ivy will play starring roles in Jay-Z’s forthcoming “Family Feud” music video. The track appears to have been selected as the next official single off the rapper’s Grammy-nominated 4:44. Announced today (December 28), the visual will drop tomorrow exclusively on Tidal. A teaser has been uploaded by the streaming service to give fans a glimpse of what is to come. Considering the incendiary title, it is unsurprising that the release appears to be heavy on the drama.
In the preview, Jay and Blue walk down the aisle of a church while Bey regally stands at the altar. Dressed in all black, she imperiously watches on as her husband comes closer. The footage is intercut with a passionate embrace between a couple, and in another scene Jay appears to sit in a confessional with his wife on the other side of a screen. This could be an allusion to him addressing rumors of his infidelity, but we will have to see what it means tomorrow.
Although 2017 has been an off year for Beyonce, she has still found massive success with a handful of surprise releases. The hitmaker soared into the upper reaches of the charts on a remix of J Balvin and Willy William’s “Mi Gente.” More recently she and Ed Sheeran soared to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 with a new rendition of the flame-haired crooner’s “Perfect.” Considering that everything she touches turns to gold, it seems likely that “Family Feud” will be another surefire hit. Check out the teaser below while we wait to see the full release.
