Justin Timberlake shared a behind the scenes glimpse at what went on in the recording studio while he was working on his new single, “Filthy.” The hitmaker officially kicked off the campaign for his forthcoming LP, Man of the Woods, last week. Every day since then has brought something new to the table. Today’s video offers a bit more insight into the creative process behind recording the explosive release.

“When that shit drops. You watch, like everyone’s face look like they want to shit their pants,” Justin teased before opening up about how to predict a response to the release. “I’m not really sure who is gonna respond to what, but I do know how everyone responded to that song in the studio. ‘Filthy’ just became this that, that it just became a force. When you talk about a whisper or a bang, that one’s a bang.”

Although “Filthy” got mixed reviews when it arrived last week, early predictions project it will debut within the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. With another buzz track dropping Friday (January 12), it is clear JT has every intention of dominating the charts through the release of Man of the Woods.

2018 is shaping up to be a big year for the “Can’t Stop The Feeling” crooner. Next month he is set to drop the LP and headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Shortly thereafter he will embark on the North American leg of his Man of the Woods Tour, which is sure to be a visual extravaganza. With so much in the works it is nice to see what is going on behind the scenes and to get a sense of where Justin is at creatively. Check out his newest promotional video below!
