The Notorious B.I.G. (Christopher Wallace) and Tupac Shakur were both monumental rappers during the 1990s on their respective coasts. Notorious B.I.G. on the East, and Tupac on the West. At one point, the two were friends and were attempting to change the rap game together. However, their friendship came to a screeching halt when Tupac accused Wallace of facilitating a robbery and shooting in 1994 in the lobby of his New York recording studio. After that, the only words exchanged between them were dissing tracks and an East Coast-West Coast rivalry was underway. Unfortunately, the two were never able to settle their differences as Tupac was killed in 1996 and Biggie in 1997.
