The 50 Best Songs Of 2017
From "Slow Hands" to "Bad Liar," we round up the best pop songs of 2017.

Charlie Puth dropped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show today (January 11) to belt out “How Long.” The 26-year-old effortlessly tackled the high notes, delivering another impressive live performance. The TV spot will, no doubt, help the funk-heavy banger climb higher than its current peak of number 26 on the Billboard Hot 100. Like “Attention,” which went on to become one of the biggest hits of 2017, “How Long” has taken a couple of months to find an audience. The song has real momentum now and another top 10 isn’t out of the question.

In addition to promoting his rising hit, Charlie is also putting the finishing touches on his sophomore LP, Voicenotes. “I have to push the album release date,” he tweeted fans last week. “I’m producing this album all myself and with that comes a lot of work, and in my opinion, the album is not perfect yet. However, it will still come out this year, and soon.” The crooner then made up for the delay by sharing “If You Leave Me Now,” a soaring ballad with ’90s hitmakers Boyz II Men.
