Time Warp originated in Germany but spread all across the world to bring EDM music to places all over the world. Unfortunately, the underground dance music festival turned deadly in 2016. At the overcrowded and underventilated Costa Salguero, Argentina venue, people suddenly began collapsing from convulsions and cardiac arrhythmia. Before emergency services could act, six people had already died from symptoms of overheating and drug overdose from a bad batch of ecstasy pills with a Superman logo stamped on them. After the event had been shut down and cleared out, two of the event organizers were arrested and electronic music festivals were banned from Argentina.
