Tinashe’s “Faded Love” Video Is A Dance Extravaganza
Tinashe teamed up with Spotify to roll out a video in support of her Joyride single “Faded Love.” Released exclusively to the streaming service today (February 16), the visual is a brilliantly choreographed extravaganza that highlights the budding superstar’s many talents. Shot in an abandoned warehouse, the 25-year-old dances along with the track’s slinky beat. Dressed in a simple outfit and without a crew of dancers in tow, the focus is entirely on her sinuous moves. And there is an organic quality to the visual that makes it absolutely captivating to take in. As an added bonus, its vertical orientation makes it perfect to watch on the go.
“Faded Love” is easily one of the strongest singles from Tinashe’s lengthy Joyride era. With any luck it will give the siren a much-needed and well-deserved hit as she gets the LP ready to release. In an interview with Zane Lowe last week, she promised her recording was done, and the album was entering the mixing stages. There is no confirmation on when it will drop just yet, but the “All Hands On Deck” hitmaker alluded to a handful of superstar features from the likes of French Montana and Ty Dolla $ign.
Her latest visual is sure to tide us over until the album is ready to go. While we wait for the video to make its way to YouTube or other platforms, Spotify users can give it a spin here. If you don’t have Spotify check out a clip Tinashe shared on Twitter below!
