The 1975 put a languid spin on Sade's Grammy-nominated 2001 hit.

The soundtrack for A Wrinkle In Time is shaping up to be something else. Earlier today (February 20), Demi Lovato shared a snippet of “I Believe,” a collaboration with DJ Khaled. Excitement reached fever pitch, however, when director Ava DuVernay revealed that Sade was contributing a new song. “We began a journey together that I’ll never forget,” she tweeted. “Proud to announce that Sade has created an original song for WRINKLE IN TIME. It’s entitled ‘Flower of the Universe.’ And it’s a dream come true.”

Happily, Ava wasn’t done spilling tea. She also revealed that Sia has a new song on the soundtrack. “Happy to share that WRINKLE IN TIME’s soundtrack also includes original music by none other than Sia,” she tweeted. “I remember being blown away by her SPEAKING VOICE ON THE PHONE. So when she shared the song she wrote for Meg, I was spellbound. It’s called ‘Magic.’ And it is.” Other contributors include Kehlani and Chloe x Halle. A Wrinkle In Time arrives in theaters on March 9. The soundtrack drops the same day. See Ava’s tweets below.
