Ricky Martin has returned to the scene with a new song called “Fiebre.” The 46-year-old rolled out his latest Spanish-language release today (February 23), and rumors are suggesting it is the lead single to a forthcoming LP. It has been nearly three years since the unveiling of his last album, A Quien Quiera Escuchar, and fans are hungry for another body of work. Unsurprisingly, his newest song is a certifiably sexy bop. On the track he sings about an addictive lover and the heat of his feelings. Boasting a danceable production and a beguiling vocal performance, it has all the makings of a major hit.

The crooner teamed up with Wisin & Yandel for a second version of the track. A couple of additional verses from the Puerto Rican duo add a little extra flair to heat things up even further. If the trio play their cards right, they could truly end up with an international smash. Thanks to the breakaway success of Latin hits like last year’s song of the summer, “Despacito,” and Camila Cabello’s chart topping run with “Havana,” it is entirely possible for them to soar to the upper reaches of the Billboard Hot 100 with the right promotional push.

Luckily, it seems like everything is in order for a quick takeover. Earlier this week Ricky hopped on social media to tease an accompanying video, which looks appropriately sensual. Shot in Puerto Vallarta, a 30-second preview includes footage of him rolling around in a bed in a sunny room. Other scenes include a sexy party and some stunning panoramic glimpses at the locale. The video should be dropping shortly, and it looks like a promising treat. While we wait to see the hitmaker in action, give the track a spin below!
