ALMA Announces ‘Heavy Rules’ Mixtape Featuring MØ, Tove Styrke & Kiiara
ALMA takes a leaf out of the Charli XCX handbook by announcing a star-studded mixtape. The Finnish pop star is rolling out Heavy Rules on March 2 and it features collaborations with MØ (“Dance For Me”), Tove Styrke (“Good Vibes”) and Kiiara (“Chit Chat”). It follows a feature on Charli’s afore-referenced Pop 2, the sublime “Out Of My Head,” and a recent gig as one of Dua Lipa’s backing vocalists for her girl-power performance of “IDGAF” on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge.
The 22-year-old first generated buzz in 2016 when “Dye My Hair” exploded on Spotify in 2016 and charted across Europe. She proved it was no fluke by repeating the feat with “Chasing Highs” last year year. The euphoric bop has racked up more than 70 million streams and established her as One To Watch.
