Demi Lovato and Q-Tip joined forces to put a fresh spin on Elton John’s classic anthem “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart.” Included on the Revamp tribute album being put together in honor of the “Piano Man” crooner and his iconic songwriting partner Bernie Taupin, the cover was rolled out today (March 16). The original anthem was released in 1976, but the new rendition injects a sultry and jazzy vibe that makes it a sure standout. This is fully on display in the accompanying video. Although the collaborators do not make an appearance, it drips with flamboyance and a sense of vibrant liveliness as a group of revelers dance around a retro-styled club.

Chris Stapleton’s rendition of “I Want Love” was also released today from the country-specific compilation, Restoration. Other songs to keep an eye peeled for ahead of the albums’ April 6 release date include contributions from the likes of Miley Cyrus, Pink, Lady Gaga, Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran. Elton himself will appear alongside the Beautiful Trauma siren and rapper Logic on a reworking of “Bennie and The Jets,” which is sure to be a highlight. After establishing her crossover success on Younger Now, Miley is the only act to feature on both LPs with “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me” appearing on Revamp and “The Bitch Is Back” on Restoration.

This marks another noteworthy contribution from the Tell Me You Love Me hitmaker. Although Demi is in the midst of her world tour, she and DJ Khaled already appeared on the A Wrinkle In Time soundtrack and shot a super-saturated video in support of their contribution, “I Believe.” It is a good month for the icon who also celebrated six years of sobriety this week. While we wait for another taste of what is to come, give Demi and Q-Tip’s video a spin up top!
