Maggie Lindemann Lets Loose In Her Fiery “Obsessed” Video
Maggie Lindemann takes over a sprawling mansion in her “Obsessed” video. The 19-year-old unveiled the Allie Avital-directed visual today (March 27). In it, she brings the pop confection’s sassy lyrics to life as she and a group of friends dance around the house and reflect on their narcissistic old flames. Serving cute choreography and some seriously chic looks, the end result exudes girl power and a fun, buoyant energy that perfectly captures the single’s defiant yet playful vibe.
Her latest visual is a fitting follow-up to 2016’s sleeper hit “Pretty Girl” and may give “Obsessed” a boost on the charts. It has already accumulated more than 20 million streams on Spotify since its November release, but a viral video could help the track debut on the Billboard Hot 100. Even better, it is giving fans an unfiltered look into the budding solo star’s artistic vision. In a press release she opened up about her experience on set. “Shooting the ‘Obsessed’ video was such an amazing experience,” she gushed.
“From the people working on set to the home we filmed in, it all came together so nicely and the video came out exactly how I wanted it. The video feels like it’s really me, 100%, so I’m so excited for everyone to finally see it.” It sounds like with every release Maggie is becoming more confident in herself, and this is overwhelmingly evident. This spring, fans across the UK will get to experience her growing confidence onstage as she joins The Vamps on their Night and Day Arena Tour. Give her latest a spin up top!
