Incredible Women Dominating The Music Industry

You may not have heard of her, but Bianca Bhagat is kind of a big deal in the music industry. At just 30 years old, Bhagat is killing the game as the head of West Coast Film/TV at Glassnote Records. Remember Childish Gambino’s hit “Redbone” that you couldn’t get away from? That was largely thanks to her. She also works with the likes of Phoenix, Mumford & Sons, and Two Door Cinema Club.
It was Bahgat’s background in political science that helped her negotiate the song onto Jordan Peele’s smash horror flick Get Out, which got it some major recognition. As well as that, she helped the band Daughter get the deal to score a video game that boosted their sales by 261 percent. In short, she’s awesome.
