Demi Lovato & Luis Fonsi Perform “Échame La Culpa” Live For The First Time
Demi Lovato’s Tell Me You Love Me World Tour rolled into Miami on Friday night (March 30) and she surprised fans at the American Airlines Arena with a world first. Luis Fonsi joined the pop star for the debut live performance of their worldwide hit “Échame La Culpa.” (A Spanglish version called “Not On You” was also released). The hitmakers worked the stage, serving vocals and even a little choreography. I’m surprised they haven’t got around to performing the song before now, particularly given its massive success.
While “Échame La Culpa” peaked at a relatively modest number 47 on the Billboard Hot 100, it has been a monster hit around the globe — reaching the top 10 in Argentina, Chile, Austria, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Peru, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Uruguay (among other countries). And then there are the eye-watering YouTube numbers. The sexy video has racked up more than 1.1 billion views since arriving in November last year. Watch Demi and Luis belt out the banger below.
