Located on the outskirts of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Prince’s Paisley Park is where the pop star lived, recorded music, and hosted parties. The entire space is 65,000 square feet and covered with things that Prince loved such as the color purple, iconic portraits of himself, and unusual decorations and furniture. Sadly, Prince passed away in 2016 after overdosing from Vicodin pills laced with fentanyl. However, after authorities declared that there would be no criminal charges in association with his death, the images of Paisley Park in its final days were released to the public. Peak inside Prince’s world to see what his dream house looked like in the days before he died.

While for most of us, this may look like the lobby of a themed hotel, for Prince, this was the entrance to his home. With two sets of doors, it was designed to fit a lot of foot traffic both out and into the house. The purple and his iconic symbol inlaid into the floor lets you know exactly where you are.
