Selena Gomez Reacts To Her Met Gala Pics, Remains Unbothered
As Justin Bieber once said in one of his lucid moments, Selena Gomez is “the most elegant princess in the world.” That is when she hasn’t been dipped in a vat of fake tan. The pop star went viral for the wrong reasons after walking the red carpet at the Met Gala with a distinctly orange glow. And, guess what? She doesn’t care. At all. The 25-year-old finally acknowledged the rare fashion faux pas in a funny Instagram post. “Me when I saw my pictures from MET,” she captioned a video of her running away.
It’s nice to see someone not taking themselves too seriously! Anyway, she has more important things to think about. Like the imminent release of her new single, “Back To You.” She spoke about the track on Beats 1, comparing it to previous singles “It Ain’t Me” and “Wolves.” “[They] all have this acoustic guitar or effect of live music with a hint of what those DJs do best,” she reveals. “I love that you can take a song that super EDM and just play it on acoustic guitar and make it beautiful… that’s why I knew ‘Back To You’ would be a perfect stepping stone.”
