Bebe Rexha Calls Out Detail After Rape Allegations Surface
Bebe Rexha came out against producer Detail, real name Noel Fisher, in the wake of rape and abuse allegations. Yesterday (May 9), TMZ broke the news that he was in the center of a brewing legal battle. The producer, who has worked on hits including Beyonce and Jay-Z’s “Drunk In Love” and Ray J’s “Sexy Can I,” is accused of physically and sexually abusing two up-and-coming artists, Peyton Ackley and Kristina Buch. A judge has granted both women restraining orders.
Sharing a link to the story on Twitter, the “Meant To Be” singer voiced her support for his accusers and shared a similar experience. “Glad these women came out. It’s scary. He tried it with me, but I literally ran out of that studio. Karma is a bitch,” she wrote. The 28-year-old opened up about how difficult it is for women to speak about these experiences in a second tweet. “It’s scary for females to come out and say something. These women are strong. He tried to do the same thing to me when I was a new artist.”
Detail faced similar accusations in 2011 when he found himself in the center of a police investigation after being accused of assaulting a women at a pre-Grammy party. He has not yet responded to the latest allegations.
