10 Essential Country/Pop Collabs
From "Over And Over" to "Meant To Be," 10 essential country/pop collabs.

The Backstreet Boys are experiencing something of a revival at the moment. The legendary boy band is enjoying a mega-successful residency in Las Vegas and recently returned to the top 50 of the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time in 12 years with “God, Your Mama, And Me,” a country-pop collaboration with Florida Georgia Line. They will build even more momentum with “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” — their first single with RCA Records. Written by Wrabel and co-produced by Stuart Crichton and Jamie Hartman, it’s a staggering return to form.

“The minute we heard this song we knew it was special,” Kevin Richardson says of the emotional synth-pop anthem. “I geeked out over the piano and synths. When that groove drops on the second verse, COME ON. Great verse, hook and melodies. Just makes you wanna listen over and over again.” It’s hard to disagree with that assessment. Things have come full circle for the Backstreet Boys. “We’ve been working our ass off for 25 years,” AJ McLean points out. “And with the support of RCA… it feels like we’re just getting started.”
