Find out who won what at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas.

Many of music’s biggest stars are in Las Vegas to attend the 2018 Billboard Music Awards. Hosted by Kelly Clarkson and taking place at MGM Grand Garden Arena, the evening is shaping up to be one of the biggest in recent memory. Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran are leading the pool of nominees with 15 recognitions a piece. They and several other artists have already picked up awards online before the show begins. Now we are turning our attention to the performers set to take the stage.

Ariana Grande opened the show with a rousing performance of her current single “No Tears Left To Cry.” Entering on the back of a collection of black umbrellas, the Sweetener icon delivered a pitch-perfect vocal performance and executed some choreography with a slew of dancers. Dua Lipa kept things equally fresh when she performed her breakout single “New Rules.” Dressed in a flirty purple robe, she flounced around an oversized flamingo with her own crew of dancers. Shawn Mendes delivered his first of two performances amidst a field of glowing flowers. Hitting all the rights notes, he worked his way through a jaw-dropping rendition of his current single, “In My Blood.” The sweeping rock anthem is fantastic in any live setting, and this was no exception.

Top New Artist winner Khalid was joined onstage by Normani Kordei for a sensual performance of their Love, Simon soundtrack contribution, “Love Lies.” The slinky anthem will undoubtedly be a standout moment of the evening considering the Fifth Harmony member’s stunning choreography. John Legend kept the good vibes going by breaking into a rousing rendition of his feel-good hit, “A Good Night.”

It was a big night for new music. Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato delivered the debut performance of their empowering single “Fall In Line.” Highlighting their soaring vocals, they belted out the number with confidence before ending with a more fragile moment. The divas dropped the anthem last week, and it is sure to receive a boost on the charts after the stellar performance. In the midst of a tour, Top Artist recipient Ed beamed in a performance of his buoyant “Galway Girl” from Dublin. The bouncy track is perfect in a live setting and undoubtedly reminded viewers why he was nominated for so many awards.

Jennifer Lopez invited DJ Khaled onstage for the premiere performance of their Cardi B-assisted “Dinero.” Dressed in a shimmering costume, the pop icon swaggered across the stage and effortlessly kept pace with a group of dancers. Few artists can dance like the hitmaker, and this was another incandescent moment. Cardi was unable to make it for the performance and instead appeared via a screen, while JLo rapped along with her verse. Shawn and Khalid retook the stage to pay tribute to the victims of gun violence with a moving performance of their resistance anthem “Youth.” Joined by the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Show Choir, it was a powerful moment that reduced members of the audience to tears. Bringing their voices together for a moment of unity, this will truly be a standout moment of the evening.

Maren Morris, Zedd and Grey raised the energy with a high octane rendition of “The Middle.” One of the most anticipated sets of the evening came from Janet Jackson. The legend received the Icon Award and lit everything on fire with a medley of hits. Joined by a crew of dancers, she filled the stage with one of the night’s most ambitious sets. Opening with “Nasty” and transitioning into “If” and “Throb,” the 52-year-old icon highlighted her impressive dance moves and signature vocals before being greeted with a standing ovation from the audience.

Tour mates Kesha and Macklemore brought the nostalgia with their collaboration “Good Old Days.” Performing outdoors in front of a camper, it was a sweet moment that highlighted the duo’s chemistry. The “Praying” siren in particular stunned with her evocative vocal line. Meanwhile the night’s host brought the heat with a massive rendition of “Whole Lotta Woman.” After contributing a hit-filled medley toward the beginning of the show, the Meaning Of Life banger provided plenty of moments for Kelly to show off her stunning vocals. Belting with the best of them, she imbued the empowering cut with unspeakable levels of sass.

Camila Cabello and Pharrell Williams premiered their sizzling “Sangria Wine.” Turning the stage pink, the youthful pop princess danced along as glitter rained down. She then transitioned to her chart-topping anthem “Havana” and kept the energy high with an impressive vocal performance. K-Pop royalty BTS kept things going with a performance of their new track “Fake Love.” The fan-favored moment came complete with live vocals and some of the most impressive choreographic feats of the night from the septet.

Salt-N-Pepa and En Vogue closed out the show with a vibrant medley of hits. The hitmakers celebrated years of excellence in the industry with another standout moment.
