Kylie Minogue Reunited With Rick Astley & Jason Donovan At Her 50th Birthday Party
Kylie Minogue celebrated her 50th birthday at London’s Chiltern Firehouse on Saturday night (May 26) with her family, friends and new love interest. (She is dating GQ creative director Paul Solomons). The guest list was unexpectedly nostalgic with the “Dancing” diva reuniting with Neighbours co-stars Guy Pearce and Jason Donovan. The latter was also part of the Stock Aitken Waterman family, which was also represented by “Never Gonna Give You Up” crooner Rick Astley. Sadly, it looks like Sonia’s invite was lost in the mail.
Other partygoers included Natalia Imbruglia, Jake Shears, Chrissie Hynde, Graham Norton, James Blunt and Melanie C. Kylie also marked the occasion by dropping a serene video for “Golden,” the title track of her 14th album. It finds her twirling around in the ocean and modeling couture gowns. The song is expected to be featured prominently in The Golden Tour, which kicks off in the UK on September 18. American dates will hopefully be added later this year.
