Lana Del Rey has graced the covers of countless magazines since launching her career. The “White Mustang” siren is a regular darling within the pages of chic publications including L’Officiel, Complex, V and Vogues across the globe. And, impressively, she has managed to deliver a distinct look for each new spread. Since channeling Carrie with a bloody crown and a bouquet of roses in one of her earliest shoots for Q, she has rarely pulled out the same look twice. Dubbed the Woman of the Year by GQ, she celebrated the achievement with a nude shoot in 2012. That same year, she posed with (literally) bee-stung lips for Interview and with a bird in a whimsical photo for Vogue Australia.

The hitmaker wrapped herself in a white sheet and channeled Marilyn Monroe’s iconic shoot for Maxim in 2014. Meanwhile, she delivered some more high-fashion looks for Nylon and Fashion in 2015. And the trend continued into 2017 and beyond. Last year, Lana posed for the likes of David LaChapelle in Flaunt. She also delivered an equestrian-inspired shoot in V and went more noire in a recent edition of Complex. A 2018 spread for L’Officiel makes it clear that she will continue stunning on magazines for years to come. Today (June 21) is the siren’s 33rd birthday, and in honor of occasion we compiled a gallery of her 20 best magazine photoshoots. Check it out up top and pick out a favorite of your own.
