The Best Videos Of 2018 (So Far)
From "Fake Love" to "APESHIT," here are the year's best music videos (thus far).

Cardi B leads the 2018 MTV VMA nominations. The breakout rapper is represented in 10 categories including Artist of The Year, Best New Artist and Video Of The Year for the “Finesse (Remix).” She was also recognized for “Bartier Cardi” (Best Hip Hop) and her feature on Jennifer Lopez’s “Dinero” (Best Collaboration). The Carters — a hot new group comprised of Beyoncé and JAY-Z — are hot on the “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker’s heels with eight nominations for “APESHIT.” They are followed by Childish Gambino, who received seven nods for “This Is America.”

The VMAs are switching things up this year with gender neutral categories, which is not only long-overdue from a progressive standpoint, but should also make for a leaner awards show. The event will air live from Radio City Music Hall on Monday, August 20 at 9:00 pm ET/PT. The non-technical categories will be voted by fans, so click here if you’re particularly passionate about any of the nominees. (You have until August 10). See who is in the running for what below.
