Cher recently dropped a bombshell when she revealed that she was releasing an album of ABBA covers. “After I did ‘Fernando,’ I thought it would really be fun to do an album of ABBA songs, so I did!” the pop legend informed Kathie Lee Gifford on Today. Of course, the enduring hitmaker developed a taste for vintage Swedish bops while filming Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again. With the film raking in big bucks at the box office ($40 million in four days), it makes sense to strike while the iron’s hot.

And that’s exactly what she’s doing. The 72-year-old jumped on Twitter this afternoon (July 25) to provide a little update. “ALMOST FINISHED WITH ALBUM,” she tweeted in caps. “THINK ITS GOOD, & (as we all know) I’M NOT A BIG CHER FAN.” The “If I Could Turn Back Time” diva then revealed the tracklist and it’s hard to fault. There are covers of classic hits like “Waterloo,” “Dancing Queen,” “SOS” and “Mamma Mia” as well as a couple of comparatively obscure gems like “Chiquitita” and “One Of Us.”

Just don’t expect a rehash of the ABBA sound. “It’s not what you think of when you think ABBA, ’cause I did it in a different way,” Cher emphasized on Today. It sounds good to me! See the full tracklist below.
