A lot of bad things have happened in 2017, but this could be the worst.

It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that a viral sensation was offered a record deal in the dark days of the late 2010s, but finding an audience as quickly as Bhad Bhabie (AKA “Cash Me Outside” girl Danielle Bregoli) is impressive. The 15-year-old cracked the Billboard Hot 100 with her debut single, “These Heaux,” and delivered huge streaming numbers with “Hi Bich.” She now lands on the cover of Fault magazine (photographed by Jack Alexander), looking typically sullen and bored. In the accompanying interview, the rising star explains how she settled on rap music.

“I was told, you can do anything you want,” Bhad Bhabie explains. “I was like, ‘I wanna do music.'” Must be nice. “I went to a studio session with a couple of people from the head of Atlantic [Records] and they said they had this song that they thought I would sound good on, called ‘Hi Bich,'” the teenager remembers. “I put my own shit on it. They heard it and were like, we wanna sign her.” Read the full interview here and click through the pics up top.
