August 17 is shaping up to be a big day for new music. Janet Jackson & Daddy Yankee’s “Made For Now” drops on Friday as does Calvin Harris & Sam Smith’s “Promises.” Joining that piping hot lineup is Marshmello. He teams up with Bastille for a new single called “Happier.” The bucket-headed DJ shared a snippet of the bop on his social media accounts and it sounds like another hit. “Then only for a minute, I want to change my mind ’cause this just don’t feel right to me,” frontman Dan sings in the preview.

“Happier” is the official followup to Marshmello’s mega-successful collaboration with Anne-Marie. “Friends” became the 26-year-old’s biggest hit to date when it peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100. It confirmed his status as one of the game’s most consistent hitmakers after finding similar success with the Selena Gomez-assisted “Wolves” (it reached number 20) and Khalid-voiced “Silence” (number 30). He will be hoping that upward trend continues with “Happier.” Listen to a preview below.
