Nicki Minaj's 'Queen': Review
Does Nicki reclaim her throne on 4th LP, 'Queen'? Read our review and find out.

Nicki Minaj has Cardi B on the brain. The rapper seemingly references her biggest rival in the just-released video for “Ganja Burns” and then took aim at the new mom in a TIDAL Q&A. When asked about competition in rap, she had the following to say. “Let me tell you something, having a big push from a label doesn’t make you great and, to me, doesn’t mean that you’re my competition or not my competition,” the 35-year-old says, obviously referring to the “Bodak Yellow” chart-topper.

“There’s always been people, you know then when um… you know every two years I get told about some female rapper,” Nicki continues in what I think is a dig at Iggy Azalea. “So, to me, now it’s silly to compare me to women because there’s no woman that can come in right now that, not even out-rap me, that realistically can put up the stats.” It will be interesting to see if Cardi takes the bait. For her sake, I hope not. Queen is in a tight race for number one on the Billboard 200 with Travis Scott’s ASTROWORLD. See Nicki’s commentary below.
