Cher Announces 'Dancing Queen'
The pop icon revealed the cover and release date of her ABBA tribute album.

EDIT: The pop legend announced Nile Rodgers & Chic as her support act.

Clear our your calendars and get ready to splurge on tickets because the Dancing Queen is going on tour! Today (September 7), Cher announced plans to travel North America for the first time in five years on her Here We Go Again Tour. The 72-year-old will revisit some of her biggest hits and treat fans to live versions of tracks off her ABBA cover album. And we won’t have to wait too long for this extravaganza. The living legend kicks things off January 17 with a set in Fort Myers, Florida. She will then travel across the country gracing fans with epic performances in Orlando, Cleveland, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Brooklyn and St. Louis.

Truly blessed fans in Indianapolis will get to spend Valentine’s Day with the diva. Just imagine a live rendition of “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)” on the lovers’ holiday. She will wrap things up with a May 18 set in St. Paul, Minnesota. Although we don’t know exactly what to expect, it is safe to assume that the event will be a dazzling and hit-filled evening of revelries with the iconic siren. Tickets for the tour will be available to the general public as of September 14 via LiveNation.com. As an added bonus, US and Canadian fans will receive a copy of Dancing Queen with the purchase of their tickets. Check out the dates and revisit Cher’s “SOS” cover (this is a pop emergency, after all) below!
