It looks like Dinah Jane will be the next member of Fifth Harmony to make her official debut as a solo artist. Today (September 10), the “He Like That” siren announced she was linking up with Ty Dolla $ign and Marc E. Bassy on her lead single, “Bottled Up.” The track is set to drop September 21. “About damn time I shared this with yall,” she teased alongside the announcement on Instagram. She also unveiled the single cover, which sees her serving a fierce look under neon lights. A trippy filter and her styling makes it seem like a banger is on the way, which is exciting news for everyone involved.

Although we don’t know much about “Bottled Up” just yet, we do know that Dinah and Ty have good chemistry in the studio. The pair previously worked together on 5H’s “Work From Home.” After going Top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and amassing nearly 2 billion views on YouTube, it is undeniably the girl group’s most successful release. It will be good to see the 21-year-old make moves as a solo star. She has previously collaborated with RedOne, French Montana and Daddy Yankee on the Latin-tinged “Boom Boom.” Last year she also released a medley of Christmas ballads with Leona Lewis. However, this will be the first time the budding superstar fronts a release of her own.

With any luck, she will follow in the footsteps of former bandmates Camila Cabello and Normani. The former topped the Billboard Hot 100 with “Havana” and returned to the Top 10 with “Never Be The Same.” Meanwhile the latter teamed up with Khalid on “Love Lies.” The slinky bop has proven to be a truly organic hit that recently broke into the Top 10. Based on a recent profile, it seems that Lauren Jauregui also has music on the way. The only member we’re still waiting for more information from is Ally Brooke. In the meantime, check out Dinah’s new single cover below!
