A Selena & Paulina Duet?
Selena Gomez has reportedly recorded a duet with Mexico's Paulina Rubio.

Paulina Rubio returned to the music scene on Friday (September 7) with a catchy new single called “Suave Y Sutil.” It’s the first taste of the Mexican pop legend’s 11th LP, Deseo, which drops on September 14. While she hasn’t shared the tracklist yet, the “Boys Will Be Boys” hitmaker previously hinted at a club-ready opus. “I was looking to maintain the key element — for the music to be danceable,” Paulina said in an interview with Vanidades way back in 2016. Interestingly, the (former) X Factor judge also hinted at a couple of possible collaborations.

“[The album] has a little of something from each genre, like banda and pop, collaborations with DJ Snake and Selena Gomez,” the 47-year-old revealed in the same conversation. However, a representative for Paulina later confirmed that the duets don’t exist. And Mexico’s Queen of Pop really doesn’t need the help. If “Suave Y Sutil” is any indication, Paulina is coming back with a collection of bangers. I just hope there’s something as fierce as “Me Gustas Tanto.” Check out her latest smash below.
