Carrie's 'Cry Pretty' Tracklist
Carrie Underwood unveils the tracklist of sixth LP, 'Cry Pretty' (due September 14).

We’re so close! Carrie Underwood’s much-anticipated 6th LP, Cry Pretty, drops tonight (!) and it’s destined to be one of the year’s most fulfilling country albums. I say that with confidence given the quality of the singles and buzz tracks. The title track showed a grittier side of America’s Sweetheart, while “Love Wins” is the booming power ballad radio has been waiting for. It also finds the 35-year-old veering closer to social commentary than ever before with its timely, hopeful lyrics.

And then there’s the blissful buzz track, “End Up With You” (below). Co-written by Leland, this is the closest Carrie has come to pop since “Quitter.” It’s an instant earworm and hints at the country queen serving up her most eclectic album to date. But let’s get back to “Love Wins.” The video arrived yesterday (September 12) and it’s as joyous and hopeful as you would expect. The superstar twirls in an orange dress, while hordes of tired and weary people descend on her location for a bright and colorful party. If you need a shot of serotonin watch up top.
