Ella Mai Exudes Star Quality In Her Shadowy “Trip” Video

Ella Mai is arguably the breakout star of 2018. The 23-year-old caught lightning in a bottle with debut single “Boo’d Up,” reaching number five on the Billboard Hot 100 and selling double platinum. Impressively, it looks like she’s going to repeat that success with “Trip.” Another slinky production courtesy of DJ Mustard, who discovered her on social media, the loved-up slow jam has already cracked the top 30 and is set to climb a lot higher thanks to massive radio support and streaming numbers.

The arrival of the video will also help “Trip” gain momentum.
