Sia Drops A Breezy, Romantic Anthem Called “Step By Step”
Sia has definitely kept busy this year. The prolific siren has regularly graced us with new music. She kicked things off by linking up with David Guetta and Afrojack for a high-octane remix of 2017’s “Helium.” The Aussie followed that up with a handful of soundtrack appearances before reuniting with the French DJ on their tropical “Flames.” She also teamed up with Diplo and Labrinth to form the supergroup LSD. Together they dropped a trio of bops, the best of which being “Thunderclouds.” Last week she and Dolly Parton got together for a stunning rendition of the country’ legend’s “Here I Am.” She also contributed a second track to Guetta’s star-studded 7. That’s not all. Today (September 21), the 42-year-old unveiled her Amazon Music-exclusive anthem, “Step By Step.”
On it she reunites with frequent collaborator Greg Kurstin. Over a breezy production, the “Bird Set Free” superstar delivers some romantic lyrics. “Baby, look at me. Can’t you see that I’m so in love,” she asks on the opening lines. As the track progresses, Sia looks forward into the future with her beloved by her side. “Step by step, I gotta keep moving towards the sunset. Step by step, come on let’s do this. Hold my hand til the end,” she urges. Hopefully the hitmaker eventually drops the track to a wider audience. I can easily see this finding plenty of love on radio. In the meantime, Amazon Music users can give it a spin below! They can also listen to it on the service’s “Pop Culture” playlist, which includes additional hits from the likes of Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez and more here.
