A Q&A With PRETTYMUCH
We speak to PRETTYMUCH about boy band life and debut single, 'Would You Mind.'

PRETTYMUCH has been heralded as the Next Big Thing since launching in 2017, and they have the music to back it up. From their ’90s-inspired debut single “Would You Mind” to this year’s “Summer On You,” they get better with every release. Today (September 28), they are back at it with their new single, “Solita.” On it, they link up with Rich The Kid and try their hand at Latin-pop. It is new territory for the Simon Cowell-curated group, but they ride the fierce beat with ease. Delivering some of their flirtiest lyrics yet, the banger heads straight to the dance floor. “Hola, mami, You got me losing focus. Got what you need, and you don’t even know it. Lost and solita, I found you,” they croon on the chorus.

Rich The Kid delivers some equally enticing lines, and “Solita” sounds like it could be the group’s breakout moment on radio. Considering the ever-increasing popularity of Latin-pop, they have their finger right on the pulse of the scene. By now, they are due for a chart-conquering hit, and this may be it. And fans will likely be able to see Austin Porter, Brandon Arreaga, Edwin Honoret, Nick Mara and Zion Kuwonu perform the bop when they hit the road on The Funktion Tour this fall. The fashionable quintet kicks things off in Seattle, Washington on October 18 before making stops in cities across North America. Check out all the tour dates and ticket info here.
