Mariah Carey Shares A Snippet Of New Single, “With You”
After going viral with the amazing (and extremely relatable) “GTFO,” Mariah Carey is ready to unleash the official lead single from her upcoming 15th LP. “With You” arrives on October 4 — i.e. Thursday — and it’s already giving me “We Belong Together” vibes. Produced by DJ Mustard, who is hiding high on the success of Ella Mai’s “Boo’d Up” and “Trip,” Mimi’s latest is a throwback to the radio-ready, mid-tempo balladry of biggest chart successes. How do I know? Well, the 5-Octave angel shared a little snippet on social media.
Mariah also unveiled the cover art on social media and it finds the skinniest of all legends looking suitably glamorous on Hollywood Blvd. “With You” will get its live debut at the American Music Awards on October 9 and, I’m told, will be worked at pop radio unlike other recent singles. The buzz behind “With You” is strong, so it will be interesting to see how Mimi fares on the charts with a proper push. Check out the snippet and bless your eyeballs with the stunning artwork below.
