The American Music Awards will never be the same. Today (October 3), organizers revealed Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes and Zedd are set to take the stage at the show on October 9. And it gets even better – it seems like the “Havana” superstar, who is nominated for 5 AMAs, may be previewing a new single off her self-titled, debut album. “.@Camila_Cabello will perform a song from her first album ‘Camila!’ Can you guess which one,” they teased. They may be referring to either her breakout hit or Top 10 single “Never Be The Same.” However, I’m hoping for fan-favorite bop, “She Loves Control.” The track has been streamed more than 120 million times on Spotify, and it could very well be the 21-year-old’s next smash. Meanwhile, Zedd and Shawn, our “new fav duo,” are expected to perform their remix of “Lost In Japan.”

The pair debuted the remix last week, and they are sure to bring the heat for their debut performance. The trio join an already star-studded cast of performers. Yesterday Taylor Swift (and her cat Meredith) announced that she would open the show with a performance of “I Did Something Bad.” The skinniest of pop legends, Mariah Carey is scheduled to perform her new single “With You,” while Cardi B unites with Bad Bunny and J Balvin to perform “I Like It.” Others performances to keep an eye on include Benny Blanco, Halsey and Khalid’s rendition of “Eastside,” Ciara’s sure-to-be heavily choreographed set and Panic! At The Disco’s tribute to Queen. With each new announcement the 2018 AMAs get more exciting. Check out the latest confirmations below and weigh in on who you are looking forward to seeing!
