Post Malone Cuts His Hair, Drops Belated “Better Now” Video
Post Malone had an unusually productive weekend. The rapper unveiled a new look (according to an Instagram post, he had to cut his hair because of “2 big ass dreads”) and finally got around to dropping a video for “Better Now.” The fifth single from Beerbongs & Bentleys was rolled out in June and became an instant hit — cracking the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. It went on to become one of summer’s most-played songs, dominating radio playlists and racking up gigantic streaming numbers (545 million on Spotify alone).
In fact, such is the song’s longevity that it reached a new peak of number three on the Hot 100 last week. I can’t help but think that it would have become Post’s third #1 hit if the video had been rolled out sooner. As it is, the “Better Now” visual feels like something of an afterthought. The clip is comprised of concert footage and backstage shenanigans, which is fine. It just feels a little underwhelming for one of the biggest hits of the year. Check out the clip and swoon over the “Psycho” hitmaker’s new haircut below.
