Album Review: Ariana's 'Sweetener'
Ariana Grande broadens her horizons on 'Sweetener'... to mixed results.

It is time to start saving your coins! Today (October 25), Ariana Grande confirmed plans to tour in support of her latest album, Sweeter. The 25-year-old has been particularly candid on social media about how the thought of touring has plagued her with anxiety. “My happiest moments are with y’all and on stage and stuff. i think it’s just the looooooong chunks of time away from home that are scary to me rn,” she admitted in a tweet last month. However, the “No Tears Left To Cry” siren later made it clear she felt prepared to travel again. After giving fans a heads up to prepare for some big news, she hopped online to make the official announcement.

The aptly titled Sweetener World Tour kicks off with a set in Albany, New York on March 18. From there the hitmaker will travel across North America making stops in cities including Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville and Atlanta. On June 14, Ari will return to New York for a show in Brooklyn. Four days later she closes out the leg with a final set in New York City. Tickets will be available to American Express Card Members for pre-order between November 1 and 3. International fans need not worry, either. Although we don’t know exactly when yet, she promised more dates were in the works.

As an added bonus, it is incredibly likely that the diminutive diva will be treating us to new material while on the road. She has posted several photos and videos from within the recording studio in recent weeks, including a snippet of a song fans think is called “Needy.” As recently as yesterday, she was teasing the possibility of dropping another collection of new music in the near future and touring in support of both. It is unclear if she is referring to the possibility of another full-length album or an EP. Either way, it is very promising news.

In the meantime, Ari appears to be shifting her attention to “Breathin” as her next single. After landing at the number 22 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 the week her album dropped, the track has been a fan-favorite and is getting a lot of love at radio. The generous (and “Successful”) singer already uploaded a video for it featuring her adorable pet pig, Piggy Smallz, but it seems another official one is the works. Check out the dates and revisit “God Is A Woman” below to celebrate the good news!
